Mojang has announced today that it has been working on a lot of good things for the Minecraft: Console Edition which will be released this fall. One of the things it has been working on is the Chinese Mythology pack which brings an “exquisitely crafted world” that has been inspired by myths of the far East. The Minecraft Chinese Mythology pack is going to be released next month.

Players will get to explore ancient cities with this pack as well as the chance to gawp at gargantuan sculptures and even cherry blossom. Since they call it the land of dragons, expect to find many of them as well!

41 new skins are present alongside 13 themed music tracks which players will be able to use in their own worlds. The Chinese Mythology pack also comes with a special map for the Battle Mini Game that was released earlier this year in June.

Minecraft: Console Edition also receives banners, new terrain generation, polar bears, and other new blocks as a free update as well. Mojang is going to release this update for the Xbox and Wii U owners in the United States on October 4th while other consoles will receive the update one day later.
