jbl_soundboostOne of the highlights of the Moto Z lineup would be its support for Moto Mods, which are basically modular accessories for the handset that allows users to change up certain features of their phone. One of those modules is the JBL SoundBoost mod that basically improves upon the sound quality of your phone.

If this is something you’re interested in, it seems that Motorola is giving away the module to buyers of the Moto Z Force DROID. In case you’re unfamiliar, the Moto Z Force DROID is basically the Moto Z Force, except that this particular model is exclusive to Verizon which has pretty much been the case with all of Motorola’s DROID phones in the past.

Customers looking to buy the phone will have to enter the coupon code “MOTOZSOUND” in order to get the module for free. The JBL SoundBoost costs $80 normally so while you won’t exactly be saving a lot of money, a freebie is still a freebie so why not, right? If you were already planning to buy the phone, it would make for a nice bonus.

For those looking to buy the Moto Z DROID instead of the Force, not to worry as Motorola has you covered as well. You won’t get the sound module but you can get the Incipio OffGrid Power Pack for free (worth $60) by entering the “MOTOZPOWER” code on check out. More details can be found on Motorola’s website.
