Drones can be used for all kinds of things, such as surveillance, taking photos, videos, reaching places that would be hard for humans, and now it seems that drones have been reduced to taking selfies as well. The folks at TRNDlabs have taken the wraps off their latest drone, the SKEYE Nano 2 FPV, which they are calling the world’s most affordable selfie drone.

According to the the company, the drone was originally called the Pokedrone but apparently due to technical and legal hurdles, it did not make it to market. This has resulted in the SKEYE Nano 2 FPV that as you can see in the video, is a tiny drone that fits in the palm of your hand, which at the same time makes it incredibly easy to bring around with you.

The drone will feature a HD camera, a 6-axis flight control system, LED lights for use at night, the ability “flip”, and will be able to last for about 5 minutes in the air, and will take about 30 minutes to fully charge. Granted you probably won’t be exploring anywhere far with just 5 minutes of flight time, but we guess if you just want to capture some quick photos or videos, it will get the job done.

It is priced at $130 and if you’d like to get your hands on it, head on over to TRNDlabs’ website for the details.
