twitter_notifyIf you’re the sort of person who enjoys being up to date with the latest announcements, news, or happenings, platforms like Facebook Live, Twitter’s Periscope, and Twitch are probably something that you tune into every now and then. However since you can’t be on social media 24/7, there are times you could miss out on a live stream.

The good news is that this is something that Twitter wants to address, and they have recently announced an update in which users can enable notifications. When notifications are enabled, users will be notified whenever someone they follow posts a live video, so you can choose in that moment whether you want to tune in or skip it.

According to Twitter, “Don’t miss a live moment! Turn on notifications to join in when someone you follow shares live video on Twitter.” This isn’t exactly a groundbreaking feature, and we have seen other platforms such as Facebook use it in the past, but we guess it’s one of those quality of life improvements that will make the experience a lot better.

To enable notifications, head on over to the profile page of someone you follow, press the new notification icon, and select “Only tweets with live video”, and you should be notified whenever that user posts a live video.
