Just yesterday we reported that ABC News and Facebook have teamed up to enable you to live stream the upcoming U.S. presidential debates. Twitter has been steadily improving its live streaming credentials as well so it’s throwing its hat in the proverbial ring as well. The microblogging service has confirmed that the upcoming U.S. presidential debates can be live streamed via Twitter.

The live stream experience will be similar to what we’ve already seen in Twitter’s streams of NFL football games. Twitter apps on various platforms will stream live video as well as curated tweets. The live stream will also be available on the web at debates.twitter.com.

Its partnership with Bloomberg Television is enabling Twitter to provide a live stream of the U.S. presidential debates. Prior to the debate, there will be analysis from the Bloomberg Politics team which is also going to chime in once the debate ends, you will also be able to watch their analysis on Twitter.

The first presidential debate between the nominees Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton is scheduled for Monday, September 26th. It’s going to be followed by the sole vice presidential debate between Tim Kaine and Mike Pence on October 4th. The second and third presidential debates between the two nominees have been scheduled for October 9th and October 19th.
