wow legion demon hunterEarlier today we reported that Blizzard was working on a companion app for World of Warcraft: Legion. We had expected the app to be launched on the 7th of September but we guess it arrived a little earlier than we had thought, and for those who are interested the app is now available for download.

In case you’re hearing about this for the first time, the WoW Legion companion app is basically an app that lets you control certain aspects of the game remotely. According to its description, “The new World of Warcraft: Legion Companion app for iOS lets you make the most of your time in-game, wherever you may be. Use the app as mission control for you and your followers and easily track the progression of your Class Order Hall.”

The app will let users track their world quests, see which missions are available in their Class Order Halls, and also check on your Order Hall progress. This is ideal for gamers who aren’t able to play in front of their computer but don’t want to lag behind on progress. Granted you won’t exactly get the full experience, but we suppose every little bit helps.

The app is available on iOS and Android, so hit up the iTunes App Store or Google Play if you’d like to get your hands on it.
