Amazon’s new Fire TV stick has started shipping and users are now waiting for it to release the biggest update to the Fire TV user interface ever since it was launched back in 2013. Amazon has described the new user interface as a “cinematic experience” as it will be able to show screenshots and trailers without requiring users to jump back and forth between applications. The new interface is going to be out later this year.

The new Fire TV user interface also allows users to create a customizable list of apps right on the home page so that they can quickly access the apps and games they use the most.

A new “Your Videos” section is also included in the interface, this section is going to display all of the content that users already own or are subscribed to. It will make it easier to find out whether they need to pay for a movie that they already own or can watch as part of a subscription.
