att-screen-repairIf you’ve ever dropped your phone and its screen shatters, it’s probably one of those heart-wrenching moments when you’re not sure if it’s just your screen that’s damaged, and also how much money you’ll have to spend to get it repaired. The good news for AT&T customers is that the carrier has you covered.

The carrier has recently announced that starting from the 15th of November, they will be offering up screen repair services for select devices. It will be available to all customers with the Mobile Insurance, Mobile Protection Pack, Mobile Protection Pack for Business, or Multi-Device Protection Pack programs, and it will also include a $89 deductible.

AT&T claims that the work will be done by a certified technician from Asurion, so we guess some degree of professionalism is there, and the technician will be sent to you to fix the device on the spot, which also means that you won’t have to deal with waiting times and be without a phone for too long.

However like we said, only select devices are part of this program. For iPhone users, it covers the iPhone 6/6 Plus, 6s/6s Plus, and the iPhone SE, and for Android users, it covers the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S5, and the Galaxy S6. The number of markets it is launching in will also be limited at the start, but AT&T does have plans to eventually expand the service come 1st of December.
