titanfall-2-battlefield-1Sometimes there are perks if you buy games from the same developer/publisher, something that the folks at EA have recently demonstrated by announcing what seems to be an exclusive skin in Titanfall 2 that will be available to gamers who also own a copy of Battlefield 1. Both games are published by EA.

According to a tweet by the official Titanfall Twitter account, it reveals the skin and a caption that reads, “Unlock the @Battlefield 1 inspired Red Baron Warpaint in #Titanfall2 by playing #Battlefield 1.” In a way it is kind of ironic that a skin inspired by World War I has made it into a game that is clearly set way, way in the future, although we have to say that it does look pretty good.

Battlefield 1 was released last week and so far reviews of the game have been largely positive. The game has been generating a fair bit of press ever since its reveal, more so when you compare it against Activision’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare whose reveal trailer managed to rack up over 2 million dislikes. To be fair the actual game could prove to be pretty good, but so far players don’t seem to like what they see.

Titanfall 2 is set for a release on the 28th of October which is this Friday, so if you are interested in getting your hands on the Red Baron Warpaint, you’ll have to pick up a copy of Battlefield 1 as well if you haven’t done so already.
