google-pixel-phone-battery-life2As much as battery life on our phones have improved over the years, they’re still not necessarily at that point where it stops being quite as important and it becomes something we can not think about. Nope, battery life on smartphones is still something we have to pay attention to, and it is also why the powerbank business is still going strong.

That being said if you are eyeing the Google Pixel smartphones, you’ll be pleased to learn that battery life on the devices are apparently pretty decent. This is according to an early review (via Phandroid) written up by a Redditor who apparently got his/her hands on the device ahead of the launch.

In the screenshot above, it shows the activity of the device which according to the poster, was recorded from 9AM to 10:30PM at night, meaning that the device was used for more than 12 hours without charging, and even then it looks like it still has 40% left which is estimated to be about 8 hours.

Note that this is real world usage and we’re not talking about benchmarks or tests, meaning that if this review is legitimate and this is the actual Pixel phone we’re talking about, would-be Pixel owners out there can expect similar performance. Of course your experience might vary depending on how you use your phone, but it seems that whatever pitfalls the Pixel might have, battery does not appear to be one of them.
