google_search_recommendationsIf you’ve tried searching on Google, you know that when you scroll to the bottom of the page, sometimes Google offers search recommendations in the event that you can’t find what you’re looking for. However recently it has been noted that Google is testing out a new way of displaying search recommendations that is directly related to the link itself.

As you can see in the screenshots above, search recommendations are now displayed within the links themselves. Basically if you do a search and you click a link and you go back to Google, the recommendations will appear like in the screenshot. The recommendations appear to be more specific and related to the link you clicked, so in case it wasn’t what you were after or if you wanted more information based on that link, these recommendations will provide it.

It should be noted that for now this feature isn’t widely available to all users yet, and it is also limited to just mobile search, so if you don’t see it yet don’t worry too much about it. It is unclear if this is something that Google plans on making permanent or if they’re simply testing out the feature. In any case we reckon it is a pretty useful feature since it saves users a lot of time from having to scroll to the bottom all the time.
