About 2 weeks ago, GoPro announced their new action cameras: the Hero 5 Black and the Hero 5 Session. If you are in the market for a new action camera, you will be pleased to learn that both cameras are now available for purchase, with the Hero 5 Black priced at $399, while the smaller Hero 5 Session is priced at $299.
In case you missed the announcement, both these action cameras are the latest cameras from GoPro in the past year or so. Both cameras will come with similar features, although we guess from the photo one of the main differences would be that the Hero 5 Black will come with a 2-inch touchscreen display, while the Session will continue to omit a display like in the previous model.
The Black will also feature a 12MP sensor while the Session will come with a 10MP, but other than that both cameras will come with an integrated waterproof casing that’s good for depths of up to 10 meters. Both cameras are also capable of 4K video capture at 30fps, and will be equipped with microphones that will also add active noise cancellation. They also have integrated voice control so if you want to control the camera with your voice, it shouldn’t be an issue.
