Honor, Huawei’s popular sub-brand, has announced that it’s offering a $50 discount on the Honor 8 for one day only to commemorate Columbus Day. The company’s online retail partners will be taking part in this promotion and will offer the discounted price to customers for just one day only: October 10th. If you’ve been meaning to pick up the Honor 8 this is going to be the best chance to purchase it for less than what you would have normally paid.

The Huawei Honor 8 was launched earlier this year and it was only confirmed back in August that it will be released in the United States. In our time with the handset we found it to be a winning combination of great specifications at an attractive price point.

It features a double-sided glass design, a 5.2-inch full HD display with a HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor under the hood coupled with 4GB RAM. The handset also features a 12 megapixel dual-lens camera, a fingerprint sensor, a 3,000mAh battery as well as Android 6.0.

The Honor 8 is normally sold for $399 but on October 10th, customers will be able to purchase it for $50 off. Customers who are looking to take advantage of this offer must place an online order through Amazon, Best Buy, or Newegg. Don’t forget, the Honor 8 will only be available for $349 on October 10 only.
