huawei-mate-9-teaser
We’ve already seen a lot of rumors and reports about Huawei’s next flagship smartphone. The company has an event scheduled for November 3rd where it’s going to unveil the handset. Huawei today published the first teaser for its upcoming flagship which confirms that we’re going to be treated to the Mate 9 on November 3rd.

The teaser doesn’t actually confirm anything about the handset itself. It basically reiterates the date of the event just so we’re all clear on the fact that it has something new to show off on November 3rd.

If rumors are believed, the Huawei Mate 9 is going to be one powerhouse of a device. It’s believed to be powered by the company’s latest Kirin 960 processor aided by up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

Huawei is actually expected to launch two variants of this handset. The Huawei Mate 9 is said to feature a 5.9 inch flat full HD display while the Huawei Mate 9 Pro is expected to tout a dual edge curved QHD display of the same size. This appears to be the only major difference between the two variants, but Huawei might reveal more when it makes the official announcement.

Latest rumors suggest that the Huawei Mate 9 is going to feature the Leica Summarit H 1:2.2/27 ASPH dual camera on the back with 4x optical zoom. It has also been said that the fully spec’d out version of the Mate 9 Pro might cost as much as $1,300.
