HyperX – a division of memory maker Kingston – today announced the release of what it claims to be the “best gaming headset for under $50.” The company says that its new HyperX Cloud Stinger headset has been designed to make even the most casual of gamers like a pro. The headset features HyperX signature memory foam as well as 50mm directional drivers to provide a comfortable and high-quality sound experience at a price that doesn’t break the bank.

The HyperX Cloud Stinger features 90 degree rotating ear cups and it weighs only 275 grams, this combination provides greater comfort for PC and console gaming use. The 50mm directional drivers are tilted to position sound directly into the ear to provide a more immersive and accurate in-game sound experience.

“The HyperX Cloud Stinger rounds our line of Cloud Gaming Headsets to deliver consumers a broader range of premium in-game audio for gaming, music, entertainment, and more,” said Lawrence Yang, business manager, HyperX.

A set of features for gameplay is included as well, features include a swivel to mute the microphone, volume controls on the headset as well as an adjustable steel slider for lasting durability. The headset features a standard 3.5mm headphone jack so it’s compatible with any and all consoles, PCs as well as mobile devices.
