HyperX today announced the launch of its first gaming keyboard called the Alloy FPS. The company says that this keyboard has been created after extensive research and hours of gameplay testing. The HyperX Alloy FPS features mechanical switches to provide tactile feedback organized in a space-saving layout so that gamers can maximize desktop real estate for mouse movement in FPS games.

HyperX’s first gaming keyboard has been fashioned out of a solid steel alloy frame. It features red LED backlighting and six preset LED modes which include a custom mode. A special Game mode lets users disable the Windows key easily to prevent gameplay interruptions.

HyperX also promises 100% anti-ghosting and full N-Key rollover functionality. The keyboard has an easy access USB charging port on the back alongside additional red-colored WASD/1234 keys, a detachable braided cord, and a mesh travel pouch.

“Gamers who play FPS classics like CS:GO or Overwatch will appreciate its compact yet sturdy design. The HyperX ALLOY FPS keyboard design gives gamers more space to setup their desktop surface to execute intricate mouse actions,” said Marcus Hermann, senior business manager at HyperX – a division of memory giant Kingston.

The HyperX Alloy FPS gaming keyboard is available for purchase right now through online and physical retailers for $99.99. All units come with a two-year limited warranty.
