Apple today released a minor software update for iOS devices. iOS 10.0.3 brings a handful of bug fixes and tweaks, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus owners will be delighted to find out that this update takes care of the Verizon LTE issues that many have been facing. This update should eliminate connectivity-related bugs for good and enable owners to enjoy their latest and greatest iPhones without having to worry about anything not working.

The connectivity issues on Verizon were reported soon after the iPhone 7 was released last month. Some Verizon customers in the United States started experiencing connectivity problems, the LTE connection would drop on its own and revert back to 3G or even 2G in some cases.

Nothing can be frustrating than not having access to high-speed 4G LTE data on a supported device, particularly when you’ve already paid for it. Nobody is going to willingly use data over 3G instead of LTE because we just can’t get enough speed.

Apple has now started rolling out iOS 10.0.3 which addresses these issues on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Some AT&T customers also reported having similar problems but the issue didn’t seem to be as widespread as it was on Verizon.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus owners will soon get an update notification on their device if they haven’t already. It’s a minor update so it should download and install itself fairly quickly.
