macbook-pro-4-5-weeksWhen Apple announced the new MacBook Pros, they also revealed that for some of the models, they would be available in 2-3 weeks. However if you weren’t quick on the trigger when it came to placing your pre-order, it seems that you might only get your laptop sometime in December.

It has been noted that within a day, Apple’s new MacBook Pro laptops have had their shipping estimates slip to 4-5 weeks, meaning that at the earliest, you would receive them by the end of November, or maybe even in early December. Prior to this we noted that shipping estimates had slipped to 3-4 weeks, so to see it go to 4-5 weeks is pretty fast.

Now we’re not sure if Apple simply did not create enough units at the start, or if there could be difficulty manufacturing the new laptops (sometimes new products do run into production issues), or if the demand is so great that Apple simply did not anticipate it. Either way we guess this isn’t necessarily a bad problem to have.

The new MacBook Pros feature new hardware like Touch Bar, a strip of touchscreen that replaces the function keys, and also Touch ID that allows users to securely log into their MacBooks and also make Apple Pay purchases.
