Fans of the Metal Gear Solid franchise might have had a problem with Konami’s release method for Metal Gear Solid 5 but they can pick up the full experience starting today. Konami decided to release Ground Zeroes separately from The Phantom Pain. If you didn’t pick up the game back then you can now get the game in one complete package today with Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes was actually meant to be a prequel to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. However, some might consider it as more of a demo than a proper game which is probably why fans might not have liked the way this game was released.

The Phantom Pain is what fans are most interested in because that’s the main game. Those who pick up this collection get both as well as all of the DLC that was released for The Phantom Pain. Even though it was rumored that some of the previously-missing content from the ending will be included in The Definitive Experience but that’s not the case. Konami has said that the reported content was never meant to be a part of the main game’s ending and that it was actually bonus content which it decided to cancel.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A launch trailer has been released today which is posted above
