pixel-leaksIn a few hours, Google will be taking the wraps off the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. While we have been getting a steady stream of leaks and rumors over the past few weeks, it seems that the floodgates have opened because on the day of the announcement, a whole bunch of leaks have come pouring out.

One of those leaks comes from Evan Blass who tweeted out several renders of the handset in a silver and blue finish. Verizon also appears to have gotten too excited and posted information about the handset on its website where interestingly enough a mysterious feature called “Google Magic” is mentioned.

Now we can’t say with certainty what exactly this feature is. Maybe it’s just advertising talk about the “magic” of owning a Google handset. Or maybe it’s some secretive new feature that somehow did not make the previous leaks, but either way it has caught our attention. Verizon’s website also confirms the presence of a blue color option, bringing the total number of colors to three: blue, silver, and black.

Like we said, it won’t be long until we find out the official details so if you’d like to learn more, be sure to check back with us at 10am PT for the the official rundown.
