If you own a smartphone, there’s a good chance you’re probably familiar with the wealth of third-party accessories offered by all sorts of companies. You might also be familiar with the brand Native Union who earlier last year, debuted an iPhone case made from actual marble. Now they’re back with another product: the ECLIPSE.

Launched on Kickstarter, the ECLIPSE is essentially a hub for all your charging cables. If you own multiple devices like smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, fitness bands, and so on, you know that you’ll have to deal with a bunch of charging cables and chargers, which can be quite messy. This is where ECLIPSE comes in.

As you can see in the video above, ECLIPSE is a circular hub in which you can wind your cables inside of it to help provide a cleaner look. It will support third USB cables, and there is also a switch that lets you swap between USB-C. Just by tapping on the surface, the ECLIPSE will rise up to reveal the cables and provide you with access to it. It will also emit a white glow at the base, thus making it easier to find your cables in the dark.

We have to say that the ECLIPSE is a pretty clever idea and one of the neater solutions around as it doesn’t just try to “hide” your cables and chargers. So far its Kickstarter efforts have been a success and they have raised over $90,000 which is almost double their goal of $50,000. If you’d like to pledge your support, hit up its Kickstarter page for the details, or watch the introduction video above.
