red-dead-revolverOver the weekend, developer Rockstar published a photo which got everyone talking. It was a simple photo, the company’s logo on a textured red background which had everyone speculating that we could be getting a Red Dead Redemption sequel. We suppose it could have been anything, until an image surfaced yesterday which more or less confirmed it.

However if you’re still not quite convinced, it would seem that Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two has registered the domain name for “RedDeadOnline.com”, which we guess is as good as it is going to get for now. However to be fair, anyone can register for a domain name and as we have seen in the past, there have been instances where seemingly legit websites have proven to be fake.

In any case it seems unlikely that this could be fake especially considering the teases that Rockstar has been releasing so far. Not to mention it has been a while since we last saw a Red Dead game, so to see a sequel wouldn’t exactly be out of the question. We also have to point out that Rockstar’s latest game GTA 5 is getting a bit long in the tooth, so introducing a new game certainly makes financial sense. In any case we’re not sure when the teasing will end, but hopefully we won’t have to wait much longer.
