Samsung has launched yet another mid-range smartphone. The company sent out teasers for this handset just a couple of days ago and today the Galaxy On NXT has been officially unveiled. It’s a mid-range device through and through so don’t expect it to be something to write home about, nevertheless, it’s going to appeal to those who want a good handset that doesn’t break the bank.

The Samsung Galaxy On NXT is powered by an Exynos 7870 1.6GHz octa processor hooked up to 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage that can be expanded through a microSD card. It also features a 5.5 inch full HD display.

Samsung’s new mid-range smartphone features a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash as well as an 8 megapixel front camera. Dual-SIM compatibility is also onboard aside from 4G LTE support. A 3,300mAh battery keeps the lights on.

If you’ve been paying attention to Samsung’s mid-range smartphones, you’ll notice that the Galaxy On NXT has the same specs as the Galaxy J7 Prime, they are essentially the same smartphone when you consider the specs.

Samsung has only launched the Galaxy On NXT in India currently where it’s being sold exclusively through online retailer Flipkart for about $275. It’s unclear if and when this handset will be sold in other markets across the globe.
