sprint_signIf you have a tablet that can support SIM cards, obviously it would be ideal if you could get a data plan for it versus using your phone to tether or be on the constant lookout for free and available WiFi. However if you don’t have a data plan yet, Sprint has announced that for $20 a month, you can get yourself unlimited data for your device.

The carrier has announced their latest plan which will give tablet owners unlimited data for $20 a month. Sounds too good to be true? We suppose it does, and as expected there are a few caveats to this plan. According to Sprint, “With this new unlimited plan, tablet customers will receive unlimited mobile optimized streaming for a high-quality video experience for mobile devices up to 480p+ resolution and music streams at up to 500kbps and online gaming streams at up to 2Mbps.”

However Sprint has also announced that if you want better quality streaming, you can add on an extra $20 a month and get “HD-quality streaming videos at up to 1080p+, HD music streaming at up to 1.5Mbps, and online gaming at up to 8Mbps.” So basically it’s $40 a month if you want to experience the best quality streaming while on the go.

There are also additional caveats like purchase the tablet from Sprint directly, have one active phone on the carrier’s network, and enroll in AutoPay. If all of this sounds like something you think you won’t mind doing, then hit up Sprint’s website for the details.
