Staples today announced that customers who purchase products via its online store will now be able to pay using Apple’s mobile payments service. Apple Pay is now supported on Staples’ mobile website which can be reached at m.staples.com. Support for Apple Pay means that its customers now have access to yet another easy and secure method of paying for their purchases on the fly.

The company’s business customers have already been able to use Apple Pay for purchases inside the Staples’ iPhone app and in Staples brick-and-mortar stores across the country. Now, customers who shop on the company’s mobile website using Safari will be able to check out using Apple Pay with simply placing their finger on the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. This eliminates the need to fill out lengthy account forms or to manually type shipping and billing information.

“We’ve been very pleased with the response so far to Apple Pay in our iPhone app and look forward to similar success with this new, seamless option on mobile web,” said Faisal Masud, executive vice president, global e-commerce, Staples.

Apple Pay works with iPhone 6 and later as well as the Apple Watch in Staples’ stores. The service works with the iPhone 6 and later, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 and later when paying for products inside the Staples’ app or the mobile website. Apple Pay in Safari also enables customers to use the payment method on any Mac that’s capable of running macOS Sierra, they need an iPhone or Apple Watch to confirm that payment, though.
