steam-halloweenThe Steam Summer Sale is one of the biggest sales of the platform, but like its name suggests, it is held in the summer which has since passed. If you missed it or if there are more games on your list, not to worry as Steam has since launched its Halloween Sale which while might not be as generous, could still end up saving you a few bucks.

The Halloween Sale isn’t as big either as according to GameSpot, there are around 60 games or so that are being discounted so in terms of variety, maybe the games you want might not be getting a price cut. However there are also several horror movies that are on sale as well, so if you want to get into the Halloween spirit then perhaps this could be worth checking out.

The sales period will also be relatively short as it will run from the 28th of October until the 1st of November, which is also the end of Halloween and also makes sense, so if you want to check out what’s available you’ll want to move quickly. As GameSpot points out, there are other gaming portals like GOG that is also hosting its own sale, so that could also be worth checking out if Steam doesn’t have the games that you want.
