One of the simple pleasures in life that we can indulge in every now and then is getting a massage, especially after a long day at work, or after a full day of walking around and sightseeing. However depending on the person who’s massaging you, this can be either a good or bad experience, and basically consistency cannot be guaranteed.

This is why there is a market for automated massage products like massage chairs, massage leg rests, and so on. However if you’re after a more portable option, you might want to check out this Indiegogo campaign for a device called the U-GYM Mini. This is a device small enough to be brought around with you on the go and provides deep tissue massages.

According to its creators, “It relieves muscle aches and pains instantly. U-GYM Mini’s smartphone-controlled massage programs provide the same kind of deep tissue massage you’d get from a professional massage therapist, and are designed to improve your blood circulation and help you sleep.”

This is thanks to the fact that the U-GYM Mini uses medium frequencies for its massages, unlike other TENS devices that operate below 1kHz. Also because it is so small and easy to use, you could wear it under your clothes and no one would be the wiser. You could even get a massage while at work and your co-workers probably wouldn’t even know. If you think this is something you’d like to get your hands on, then head on over to its Indiegogo page for the details.
