mi-mix-officialAccording to the rumors, Apple’s 2017 iPhone will feature an edgeless display, but unfortunately it seems that Apple won’t be the first to the market with such a device. It looks like Xiaomi could have beaten them to the punch with the launch of the Mi Mix, a phone that had originally existed as a concept idea but is now being made into a reality.

As you can see in the rendering of the phone above, it certainly looks beautiful. However there is more to it than just its looks as the Mi Mix seems to be packing some serious hardware under its hood as well. For starters it will feature a massive 6.4-inch display, although the exact resolution was not revealed.

Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset can be found clocked at 2.35GHz. There will also be two versions available: one with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and another with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There will also be a 4,400mAh battery, support for Quick Charge 3.0, a 16MP rear-facing camera with phase detection autofocus, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The phone is also said to feature a full ceramic body (something that Apple has been rumored to do ever since the launch of the ceramic Apple Watch Series 2) which includes the back, frame, and its buttons. As for pricing, the Mi Mix is said to be priced at 3,499 yuan for the 4GB version, and 3,999 yuan for the 6GB version and will be available for pre-order in China, but no word on whether it will be making its way stateside.
