emio_eliteLast year Microsoft took the wraps off the Xbox Elite controller and while it was pretty damn expensive as far as controllers are concerned, it was also pretty well-received as last we checked, back in June earlier this year Microsoft actually managed to make a million units, which they obviously would not do if there was no demand for it.

So where’s Sony’s answer to the Xbox Elite controller? Unfortunately as far as official controllers are concerned, Sony does not have an answer to that. Instead it seems that we’d have to turn to third-parties for that as Emio has recently unveiled its own Elite PS4 controller that is scheduled for a release tomorrow, the 10th of November.

Interestingly enough the design of Emio’s controller greatly resembles that of the Xbox Elite. It will feature customizable D-Pads, joysticks, rear paddles, interchangeable thumb thicks and rear control paddles, d-pad, and more. Basically it’s the PS4 version of the Xbox Elite controller, although we guess we would have preferred an official Sony version, but this version doesn’t look too shabby.

In terms of pricing it is more affordable than the Xbox Elite as it is priced at $90 versus the $150 of the Xbox Elite when it was first released. If you’d like to get your hands on it, then head on over to Amazon to place your pre-order.
