A couple of months ago, a handful of teasers for the upcoming Ghost In The Shell movie were released We have to say that they look pretty good, and for those who were looking forward to additional content, you’re in luck because the teaser for the official trailer has recently been released.

What makes this particular teaser so exciting is the fact that we get to see Scarlett Johansson’s character in the movie don the iconic thermoptic suit. For those who aren’t familiar with the Ghost In The Shell series, the thermoptic suit basically gives the character invisibility. In the anime it has typically been depicted as the character coming across looking naked (she isn’t), so we were curious as to how the moviemakers were going to pull this off.

Speaking to IGN, the movie’s producer Avi Arad said, “We’re not actually trying to pretend she’s naked. The suit emulates some of the ideas of the panel lines. When you see it the movie you’re not meant to think that that she’s naked.” The end result is an actual suit crafted out of silicon that was designed based off on digital scans of Johansson’s body so as to ensure it would mirror her silhouette, which you can check out for yourself in the teaser above.

That being said, the movie is set for a release on the 31st of March, 2017. We are looking forward to the full trailer but in the meantime we guess this teaser will have to make do.
