youtube redIf you are looking to test Google Play Music before committing $10 a month to the service, Google offers a free 30-day trial. However if you are interested in a trial longer than 30 days, you’ll be pleased to learn that Google is now offering users a 4 month free trial not just to Play Music, but to YouTube Red as well.

If this deal sounds familiar, it is because earlier this year to celebrate the 4th of July, Google announced a similar deal, but like we said, typically the trial is offered as a 30-day trial, so 4 months is actually pretty long. Also we should point out that this offer is only available for new subscribers, meaning that if you have signed up before and cancelled, you will no longer be eligible.

This is actually a pretty good deal since a subscription to YouTube Red would set you back $10 as well. In case you’re unfamiliar, YouTube Red is basically an ad-free version of YouTube. The service was launched last year and in addition to ad-free videos, there will also be videos created by YouTubers that will be exclusive to YouTube Red, so if you are into exclusive content and more originals, YouTube Red is the place to be.

As with the previous offer, users are more than welcome to cancel their subscription if they are no longer interested in the service, although you’ll want to do so before the 4 month trial ends, otherwise you can expect to be charged $10 for Play Music and YouTube Red. No word on when the offer will expire, but we guess you probably shouldn’t dawdle.
