Rockstar today announced the latest GTA Online update which adds a new adversary mode called Deadline. The new mode puts up to four players against each other on a different colored Shotaro, which is a new Tron-style bike that’s also being added to the game in this update. The latest GTA Online update lets players turn the streets of Los Santos “into a stylish electronic videogame battle to the death.”
The Nagasaki Shotaro is a blazingly fast bike that’s new in GTA Online. The new Deadline Adversary Mode unlocks the bike for purchase at Legendary Motorsport. For a limited time, all new Shotaro owners will receive a free Nagasaki Logo Tee right in their wardrobe. Players can use the bike’s light trails to take out their adversaries.
Any adversary that comes into contact with the player’s temporary light trail will meet an instant explosion, so players can make calculated movements that cross their trail’s path. The new mode also features strategic power-ups for the bike such as Boost which increases speed and Zoned for precision movement. Hop will let players lead ahead of their opponent’s light trail.
The new update for GTA Online has been released today, Rockstar is also offering several in-game bonuses such as discounts on vehicles and weaponry to commemorate the release.
