Earlier this month during BlizzCon 2016, Blizzard took the wraps off the next Hearthstone expansion in the form of the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan. If you’re wondering when the expansion will be released, you’ll be pleased to learn that during a live stream today, Blizzard announced the expansion’s release date for the 1st of December.
That means that this coming Thursday gamers who are interested will be able to check out the latest expansion. However we should note that unlike the previous release, One Night in Karazhan, Mean Streets of Gadgetzan will be purely a cards expansion meaning that there will not be any wings for users to clear. Instead it will be focused on introducing more cards and card types to gamers.
Some new features include factions in which depending on your race, it will also dictate which faction you belong to. There will also be minions that are faction-specific. Blizzard is currently accepting pre-purchases for the game in which $50 will nab you 50 card-packs. Granted you could always save the gold and use it to purchase them, but if you’d rather not spend all that time farming for gold, this is a quicker (but more expensive) alternative.
