hermes-apple-watchApple is indeed positioning the Apple Watch as more of a fashionable kind of smartwatch, as opposed to a geeky/hi-tech device that would stand out like a sore thumb if you’re trying to be all fancy and fashionable. The company had previously teamed up with Hermes for special Apple Watch bands, and it looks like there are more to come.

According to the reports, it seems that come 24th of November, which is this Black Friday, Hermes is expected to launch a limited edition Apple Watch band dubbed the “Equateur Tatoutage”. This has been designed by Robert Dallet and will be available in limited numbers, meaning that if you love limited edition items, then this is definitely a band you’ll want to add to your collection.

Also unlike the previous Hermes Apple Watch bands, this design is actually more “fresh” and almost funky, whereas the other Hermes models were more sombre and seemed more suited for a formal occasion. The design is based off the Simple Tour band and given its limited nature, it is priced higher too at around $442, versus $368 of the normal version.

So far Hermes is pretty much the only company to officially work with Apple on Apple Watch bands. We have seen other fashion retailers such as Coach and TOMS create bands for the Apple Watch too, but not in the same capacity as Hermes.
