facepalm-emojisWords are a great way to get your message across, but have you ever heard the saying that a picture paints a thousand words? If you have, you’ll be pleased to learn that in the iOS 10.2 beta that has been recently seeded to developers, it has been discovered that Apple has thrown in a bunch of new emojis that users have been asking for.

One of those emojis is the facepalm emoji that like we said, has been requested by users for quite a while now. There are also other popular emotes like the shrug that has been turned into an emoji, as well as the gorilla Harambe who has in recent times been turned into something of a very popular meme.

Apple also appears to have made the emojis more diverse. Prior to this, the various professions depicted in the emojis have been pretty much all male, but with the latest emojis, it seems that users can now choose to have a female represent that profession as well, so if you’re all about diversity then this could be something to look forward to.

There is also some changes made to the overall design of the emojis themselves. Instead of looking kind of flat like they used to, iOS 10.2 has made the emojis more “3D”. That being said, we have no idea when Apple plans on releasing iOS 10.2 to the masses, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for it.
