The OnePlus 3T and the Pixel XL are some of the newer phones that have launched in recent times. Both phones also appear to have almost identical specs under the hood, like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, not to mention the battery sizes are almost the same with a 50mAh difference.

That being said, which phones take a shorter time to charge? The OnePlus 3T or the Google Pixel XL? Turns out it could be the OnePlus 3T. This is according to a recent video uploaded by OnePlus in which they compared the charging speeds of the Pixel XL and the OnePlus 3T. According to the results, the OnePlus 3T took about 1.5 hours to hit full charge, while the Pixel XL took an additional 31 minutes.

Note that the OnePlus 3T has the smaller battery of the two, but we highly doubt that 50mAh will take 31 minutes, right? Also to be fair, both phones are using different charging systems, with OnePlus opting to use their proprietary Dash Charge, which we can only assume was the point of the video which is to highlight the technology.

Of course other factors are taken into consideration when choosing a phone, but if speedy charging is a must for you, then perhaps the OnePlus 3T could be worth your consideration.
