The OnePlus 3T is the company’s latest smartphone that was released only a few months after the OnePlus 3. It is still unclear as to why the company decided to refresh the phone so soon, but so far reviews have been largely positive so we guess it’s not necessarily a bad thing. Recently the company decided that a good way to shake things up would be to release an unboxing video while inside a fighter jet that’s in the air.

This actually reminds us of the unboxing videos that T-Mobile has released in the past, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing as they are pretty fun to watch. The unboxing of the phone itself has no surprises since we already know what to expect, but if you are an aviation enthusiast then perhaps this video might be of interest to you.

The OnePlus 3T improves upon the OnePlus 3 in a couple of ways. For starters the chipset in the OnePlus 3T is of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 variety, whereas previously the OnePlus 3 had a Snapdragon 820. In theory this should mean that the OnePlus 3T is faster, but we guess it depends on your needs. If all you do is make calls, send messages, and surf the web then maybe the difference might not be as clear cut.

Unfortunately the OnePlus 3T is also more expensive than its predecessor, so that’s something to take into consideration if you were thinking about getting the phone. In any case if you have a few minutes to spare, you can check out the video above to see the unboxing in action.
