deus_ex_goOne of the “downsides” to Square Enix’s “Go” series of games is that once you’re done completing the various puzzles, you’re kind of done with the game. However the good news is that with Square Enix’s latest release, Deus Ex Go, the developer has announced a new update to the game that brings the Puzzle Maker tool to it.

In case this wasn’t obvious already, the Puzzle Maker tool allows users to create their own challenges and share it with the community, meaning that once you’re done with the game you’ll be able to find other challenges made by other players that will help extend the life of the game. So whether you’re a creator or just someone who enjoys playing the game, you’ll be able to find something new to do.

The update also adds other features to the game, such as an undo feature that will rewind your latest move, and a profile page that provides players with rewards as they gain experience points. It is a pity that for now, the Puzzle Maker will not be finding its way to Square Enix’s previous releases like Hitman Go or Lara Croft Go, so for now it looks like only Deus Ex Go players will be able to take advantage of it. The update should already be live so check it out if you haven’t done so already.
