Stardew Valley is one of the more popular indie games available at the moment. Just a few months ago, the game was released on both Mac and Linux platforms, and the good news for Xbox One gamers is that if you were hoping to get your hands on the game, you’ll be pleased to learn that it will soon be available for you guys.Announced on the Xbox website, it has been revealed that Stardew Valley will be seeing a release on the Xbox One come 14th of December. According to the game’s description, “Stardew Valley is a country-life role playing game in which you make a new life for yourself by living off the land and getting to know the local townspeople. There are many ways to find success… try your hand at farming, fishing, mining, foraging, fighting monsters, and raising animals.”
We know that it seems odd that a farming RPG is gaining so much popularity, but we guess the straightforward and somewhat cheery nature of the game is a nice break from some of the more complex games that are available in today’s market. As it stands the game is available on Windows, Linux, and Mac.
It is also planned for a release on the PS4 come 14th of December as well. The game was also planned for a release on the Wii U, but its developer has instead chosen to skip the Wii U in favor of the Nintendo Switch.
