Musician will.i.am might be known to some of you guys as one of the members of the Black Eyed Peas, although in recent times will.i.am seems to be focused more on gadgets and has launched products like the Dial, a wearable, and earlier this year he also launched a pair i.am+ EPs headphones.
It looks like he is back again with a new pair of headphones in the form of the i.am+ BUTTONS, which we have to say does look pretty sleek. Combine that by choosing Kendall Jenner and Naomi Campbell to help model them, will.i.am seems to have done a good job at positioning them as a fashion accessory as well.
Speaking to Mashable, will.i.am was quoted as saying, “If you care about glasses and you buy glasses to go with your wallet and your wallet to go with your watch, your headphones should do the same. [These aren’t] headphones that you buy and put in your pocket.” The headphones will pair with your smartphone via Bluetooth, and it is expected to last 6-8 hours of continuous usage.
They will also come with 6 different earbud covers so that you can find one that fits you nicely. The outer part of the headphones are also magnets which means that you can wear them around your neck and clip them together when not in use. We can’t speak to its sound quality but if you want to get your hands on them, they’ll be exclusive to the Apple Store where it will be priced at $230.
