mi-mix-officialA couple of days ago we reported that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 had sold out its first batch in an impressive 50 seconds. If you thought that was fast, think again because according to the latest reports, Xiaomi’s dreamy Mi Mix handset managed to sell out of its first batch in a stunning 10 seconds, essentially making it Xiaomi’s fastest selling smartphone ever.

In case you missed the announcement, the Mi Mix is one of the new smartphones announced by the company a couple of weeks ago. It features a near edgeless display, although some have pointed out that in reality, the edges are thicker than what Xiaomi had advertised, but it’s still pretty impressive all the same.

As for its specs, the Mi Mix features a massive 6.4-inch display, although with the thinner bezels, we guess it probably won’t feel quite as huge in your hands. Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset can be found along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is another configuration that comes with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The phone is also made out of ceramic which apparently looks great, but is apparently slippery as hell. It is also priced relatively affordable at 3,499 yuan for the 4GB model and 3,999 yuan for the 6GB model, which is why you can understand why they sold out so fast. Unfortunately the phone is only limited to China for now, but hopefully Xiaomi will keep churning out similar devices for when they eventually do come to the US.
