axon-7-high-end
ZTE is among the handful of Chinese companies trying to make it in the U.S. smartphone market. Earlier this year the company launched the mid-range variant of its Axon 7 smartphone in the country and today it has started selling the high-end version which comes with specs that really are worth your time. The high-end Axon 7 smartphone is being sold directly to customers via ZTE’s website starting today.

ZTE first unveiled the Axon 7 earlier this year. The mid-range version features 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM whereas the more expensive version comes with 128GB of onboard storage as well as 6GB of RAM.

The company has already released the mid-range variant of this smartphone for $399.98 in the United States earlier this year in July. It’s now selling the high-end variant through its website for $499.98.

Specifications of this handset include a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display with force touch technology, 20 megapixel rear and 8 megapixel front camera, a 3,250mAh battery, USB Type-C port as well as Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The handset actually happens to be the first smartphone in the country powered by Android to feature support for pressure sensitivity on the display. That’s really what sets it apart from the competition so much so that the company will be hoping you’re convinced enough to spend $500 on the ZTE Axon 7.
