Password managing service 1Password has released a big update for its iOS application which not only makes it easier for users to sign up for a new account but also makes it very easy to sync across devices without having to worry about what operating system they’re running. Apple Watch owners will be delighted to know that this major update also brings a native 1Password app for their smartwatch.

1Password actually had an app ready for the Apple Watch when the smartwatch was first announced back in 2015 but it wasn’t that speedy and only had support for items that were stored in a user’s primary vault.

The native app is much better than its predecessor. It takes full advantage of the speed and performance improvements offered by running an app directly on the smartwatch’s hardware.

The native 1Password app for Apple Watch enables users to import passwords from any vault into the Apple Watch so that they can use those passwords to access apps and services on the smartwatch.

There’s even a way now to move items en masse on iOS. Users can now move multiple items at once. They just need to pull down from the top of their item lists to access the “Select Items…” button where lets them select as many items as they want to copy or move to another vault.
