Ridley Scott’s Alien franchise dates back many, many years, and it was only in recent times that we saw the franchise revived again with Prometheus which was released back in 2012, which many regard to as being the prequel to the entire Alien series. The good news is that if you wanted a sequel, the trailer for Alien: Convenant has since been released.

For those unfamiliar, Alien: Convenant is the sequel to 2012’s Prometheus. According to the movie’s description, “The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.”

The movie would also see the return of Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace who will be reprising their roles as David the android and Dr. Elizabeth Shaw. Fassbender will also be taking on the role of “Walter”, another android who is basically the more advanced version of David. Alien: Covenant is expected to be released on the 19th of May, 2017, and if you are curious about it then do check out the trailer in the video above.
