Apple introduced its wireless earbuds – called AirPods – at the iPhone 7 event in September. The earbuds were initially supposed to be released in October but Apple has had to delay the release multiple times due to purported technical issues. The wait is finally over for people who have been meaning to purchase this product. It’s now possible to buy Apple AirPods online from the company’s online store.

Priced at $159, the company’s online store mentions that these wireless earbuds will be shipped later in December if an order is placed immediately. Interested customers can head over to Apple’s online store right now and place an order.

When Apple delayed the release of this product, the company said that it would only be “a little more time before AirPods are ready for our customers,” and even though it has started selling them, the company is yet to confirm what actually happened that forced it to delay the release from October to December.

In a press release sent out today, the company says that AirPods will start arriving at its retail stores, select carriers, and authorized resellers starting next week. It also points out that AirPods will be shipping in limited quantities at launch, the company encourages customers to check online for updates on availability and estimated delivery dates.

Customers in more than 100 countries including but not limited to the United States, United Kingdom, China, France, and more can place an order for AirPods.
