As you might have heard, Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear Solid fame had earlier this year announced his latest game, Death Stranding, which will be his first game ever since he had parted ways with Konami to go on and form his own studio, Kojima Productions. The first trailer released was a bit weird, but if anything Kojima is consistent as the second trailer is here, and it is equally as weird.

The second trailer made its debut at The Game Awards in which Kojima received the Industry Icon award. Unfortunately the second trailer doesn’t really tell us much just like the first one, although it does reveal a familiar face in the form of Mads Mikkelsen, the actor from the Hannibal TV series and also the villain in the recent Doctor Strange movie by Marvel.

Like we said, the second trailer is just as weird as the first one, although we guess in this instance it does feel less abstract since it seems to have placed the player in some kind of war zone, or at least post-war zone. The baby makes its appearance once again and we have no idea what it is or why it is there.

All of this is certainly generating a lot of hype, but unfortunately for gamers who are looking forward to the game, you have some waiting to do as last we heard, there is still no release date set for the game yet, but a tentative release before 2019 is a possibility.
