Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 is a pretty robust device that provides a full Windows experience. It’s regarded as one of the best devices that the company has ever made and there’s certainly truth to that claim. Microsoft has released a new software update for the Surface Pro 4, it says that this isn’t a major update, so it’s not likely the latest Surface Pro 4 update is going to bring any major features to the computer.

The update basically brings improvements for the Surface Pro 4’s Realtek audio driver. Microsoft says that this update is going to result in improved Cortana performance.

Cortana, as many of you are well aware right now, is Microsoft’s digital personal assistant. It works on the company’s PCs, tablets, smartphones, and even its gaming console. Cortana is certainly capable of holding its own against the likes of Siri.

The latest Surface Pro 4 update’s official changelog mentions that it brings the “Realtek Semiconductor Corp. driver for Realtek High Definition Audio (SST) – v6.0.1.7895 – Improves system stability and Cortana performance.” It also happens to be the first update for the Surface Pro 4 in about four months.
