samsung logoOne of the new features that Samsung introduced with the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 is Samsung Cloud. Basically this is Samsung’s take on cloud service similar to what is being offered in the market at the moment. However it seemed to be a mobile-only storage solution and further limited to Samsung handsets.

However the good news is that come 2017, Samsung could be bringing the feature onto the PC. This is according to one of the users part of the Galaxy Beta Program who suggested that Samsung to bring to feature onto the PC. A Samsung rep then responded by saying that this was under deep consideration and that it will arrive in 2017.

No word on when exactly this feature will go live, but if we had to venture a guess, it would make sense for Samsung to launch it alongside the Galaxy S8 which is expected to be launched in the first half of next year. We’re also not sure what kind of plans Samsung plans to offer and if it will differ from what is already being offered, so we guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. In the meantime if you need cloud storage services, maybe you’ll want to check out other services until its launch.
