Samsung-Galaxy-S7-vs-S7-edge-09_900
There are all kinds of rumors and reports floating around these days about Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone. It goes without saying that there is a lot of anticipation among Samsung fans to see how the company bounces back after the failure of the Galaxy Note 7. All eyes are now on the Galaxy S8 which is expected to be a major upgrade over its predecessor. According to a new report, the Galaxy S8 RAM is going to be a whopping 8GB.

This report out of China claims that the Galaxy S8 RAM is going to be made by Samsung on its 10nm process and that it’s going to be an 8GB chip. If that’s true, this would be the first Samsung smartphone to feature 8GB of RAM.

It’s also claimed that the Galaxy S8 is going to feature a UFS 2.1 flash storage chip which would basically mean that the onboard storage is going to be faster. Previous reports suggest that the Galaxy S8 could offer up to 256GB of onboard storage.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything about the Galaxy S8 at this point in time so nothing is set in stone just yet. From what we’ve heard so far, Samsung is going to release two models of the Galaxy S8 and that one could even have a 6 inch display.

The company was expected to unveil the Galaxy S8 at Mobile World Congress 2017 in February but it’s now believed to be conducting its own event in April to unveil the new flagship.
