nintendo-world-universalIf you’re a fan of Nintendo’s franchises, you might be interested to learn that in the future when you visit Universal Studios Japan, you can look forward to various attractions and rides that are themed around Nintendo’s games. Officially Dubbed Super Nintendo World, this was revealed by Nintendo of America.

According to the tweet, “#SUPERNINTENDOWORLD featuring attractions based on many Nintendo titles is coming to Universal Studios Japan!” From what we can tell it seems to be rather heavily based on Mario, but then again it shouldn’t be surprising given how Mario is pretty much the face of the company.

It also seems from the image above that we can expect mascots walking around in costumes of some of Nintendo’s characters, such as Princess Peach. Of course those who don’t live in Japan won’t be left out of the fun. If you might recall, last month Nintendo announced similar plans for Universal Studios in Orlando and Hollywood.

No word on when the new attractions in Osaka, Japan are going to be opened, but it seems unlikely that it will be anytime soon so maybe you shouldn’t hold your breath just yet, but they are expected to be opened separately over the next several years, so if you’ve always wanted to visit Japan, you can start saving!
